Marrakech Hospitality Forum Sets January 21 Agenda on Investment, Wellness and AI

Hotel owners, investors and sector executives are due to meet in Marrakech on January 21, 2027, as the Forum de l'Industrie Hôtelière returns with an agenda that ranges from upgrading Moroccan properties for 2030 to the uses of artificial intelligence in hotel operations. The fourth edition is organised by the Fédération Nationale de l'Industrie Hôtelière (FNIH), with event production by Interworld Africa.

The organiser is targeting around 200 hospitality decision-makers for a single working day. That is a proposed participation figure, not a count of registered or confirmed attendees. The invitation-led business format brings together hotel owners, general managers, investors and regional industry representatives rather than offering a public exhibition or consumer fair.

Four discussions structure the programme. The first addresses the standards and transformation required as Morocco prepares for 2030, including the hotel sector's regulatory framework. The second examines investment, financial engineering and risk management, a practical concern for owners considering renovation or expansion.

A third panel turns to health and wellness hospitality, exploring the relationship between hotel facilities, recovery, medical services and new forms of guest accommodation. The fourth takes in restaurant operations and commercial kitchen equipment, food-safety processes, digital tools, AI-enabled revenue management and workforce development.

The setting will be important to professionals following the plans. Interworld's current event page confirms Marrakech and Thursday, January 21, but does not yet name a specific hotel or conference room. Nor does it provide a complete speaker list, public ticket price or detailed session times. Those remain forthcoming rather than facts that can be inferred from previous editions.

The same official page retains a stray 2026 heading despite displaying January 21, 2027 as the event date in its programme and visual. This article follows the explicit 2027 date while acknowledging the inconsistent website label.

People interested in participating or sponsoring can use the event organiser's registration and contact page; the form asks for name, position, company and contact information. The accompanying image is an archival, real photograph from an earlier Hospitality Industry Forum published by the FNIH in March 2025, not an image of the forthcoming 2027 event.
