Lalla Aicha Q-School Returns Across Six Marrakech Courses in December
The Ladies European Tour will spread its Lalla Aicha Qualifying School across six Marrakech courses this December, turning the city’s golf belt into a two-stage route towards the European professional circuit. The official schedule confirms a three-day pre-qualifier followed four days later by a 90-hole final.
The Marrakech pre-qualifier runs from Thursday 10 to Saturday 12 December. Entrants will compete at one of four courses: Noria Golf Club Marrakech, The Montgomerie Marrakech, SAMANAH Golf by Nicklaus or Akenza Golf. The Montgomerie and Akenza are new to the qualifying-school schedule this year.
Those who reach the final stage move to Al Maaden Golf Marrakech and Royal Golf Marrakech from Wednesday 16 to Sunday 20 December. The competition covers 90 holes, with the fifth and final round played at Al Maaden.
This is an entry route for eligible competitive golfers, not a public participation tournament. The LET says applications for the Marrakech pre-qualifier and final qualifier close on Monday 9 November at 5pm UK time and must be submitted through the LET app. The schedule does not announce general spectator tickets or a public-access programme.
Player names and the number advancing from each pre-qualifier are still to be settled. For now, the useful certainty is the geography: four courses host the first stage, two host the final, and Al Maaden carries the decisive last round.
