They see beautiful objects, intricate woodwork, tilework, leather, metal, and textiles, but they have no context for where these traditions came from, how they connect to the monuments and palaces of the city, or why they still matter today.
Our platform closes that gap. Our principal guide has been active in Marrakech's medina since the 1980s, a period that spans the full arc of the modern Moroccan tourism industry and encompasses decades of relationships with the craftsmen, merchants, and families of the souk district.
This is not a credential that can be replicated by a newer guide: it represents accumulated personal relationships, first-hand knowledge of craft lineages across multiple generations, and a capacity for historical comparison, understanding not just what the souk looks like today, but what it has looked like over decades of change.
