Marrakech to Host 70th UIA Congress From October 28 to November 1

Marrakech will host the 70th annual congress of the Union Internationale des Avocats from October 28 to November 1, 2026, adding a major international professional gathering to the city's autumn calendar.

The event is scheduled for the congress facilities connected to the Mövenpick in Hivernage on Avenue Mohammed VI. The official Marrakech tourism site says the program will include more than 40 working sessions, roundtables and expert interventions.

Two broad themes highlighted for the congress are legal issues surrounding major sporting events and the role of law in international trade. A social program and a regional excursion are also planned alongside the professional sessions.
