One of Marrakech’s easiest recurring cultural events to miss is also one of the simplest to attend: the Auditorium Pierre Bergé at the Musée Yves Saint Laurent Marrakech runs a free film screening every Monday at 19:00.

The current Ciné-Club #4 accompanies the exhibition Yves Saint Laurent en scène and looks at theatre, ballet and music-hall as creative influences in the designer’s life and work.

Free entry, but arrive before 19:00

The museum states that access is free within the limit of available seats. The important rule is that no one is admitted after 19:00, so this is not a screening where arriving a few minutes late is harmless.

Films are shown in their original language with French subtitles. Films in French are subtitled in English, which makes the series unusually accessible for international visitors.

A recurring Monday option

The museum’s current programme places the ciné-club on Mondays at 19:00 unless otherwise indicated. The present series is tied to Yves Saint Laurent en scène, the museum exhibition running into early January 2027.

For a visitor spending several days in Marrakech, this is useful because it does not require committing to a festival weekend or a large ticket price. It is a regular evening programme inside one of the city’s major cultural institutions.
