CMOOA Brings a 70-Lot Autumn Art Auction to Comptoir des Mines on October 31
Marrakech’s late-October art calendar now includes a 70-lot auction bringing major names in Moroccan modern and contemporary art to Comptoir des Mines.

CMOOA’s 2026 Vente d’Automne will be preceded by a public exhibition at the Guéliz gallery from October 27 to 30. The auction itself is scheduled for Saturday, October 31 at 17:00.
Seventy lots across several generations
CMOOA describes the sale as an eclectic selection of 70 lots spanning different artistic currents, generations and geographies. Among the highlighted works are pieces by Mohamed Melehi, Jilali Gharbaoui, Ahmed Louardiri and Fquih Regragui.
That makes the public viewing useful even for visitors who do not intend to bid. It offers several days to see auction works in person before the sale rather than encountering them only through a catalogue.
A busy week at Comptoir des Mines
The sale lands immediately after Art Meets You, scheduled across Marrakech from October 22 to 25, and alongside the gallery’s Hassan Bourkia exhibition opening in late October. For art-focused visitors, that creates an unusually concentrated run of events around the same period.
