La Mamounia will host a new exhibition by Marrakech-based artist Elisabeth Busson from October 15 to November 15, 2026, adding a tactile art experience to the palace hotel’s autumn cultural programme.

The exhibition will be installed in La Mamounia’s lobby and focuses on Haptilism, a concept developed by Busson around experiencing artworks through touch as well as sight. According to the hotel’s official announcement, the works are created in relief on Plexiglas and are presented as part of a programme dedicated to craftsmanship and savoir-faire.

The project places material, touch and handwork at the centre of the visitor experience. La Mamounia describes the exhibition as an invitation to reconnect with physical sensation at a time when so much visual culture is experienced through screens.

The exhibition opens on October 15 and is scheduled to remain on view through November 15, giving both hotel guests and Marrakech visitors a month-long opportunity to see the installation.
