Amerruk Marrakech Joins Marriott’s Autograph Collection With Atlas Views and Private-Pool Villas

Marriott is now listing Amerruk, Marrakech, Autograph Collection as a new addition to its portfolio, bringing another Marriott Bonvoy option to the countryside southwest of the city.

The property is set across seven hectares near Douar Akrich on the Route d’Amizmiz. Marriott describes the retreat as facing the Atlas Mountains, with rooms and suites opening onto terraces or balconies and a collection of villas with private pools.

Food and drink are spread across several venues. Assine is the all-day restaurant, Tala serves guests beside the pool, and Spicy Bar is the property’s bar. Amerruk’s own website describes Assine as a Moroccan-led restaurant built around local ingredients and familiar dishes interpreted in a contemporary way.

The property also includes Almalaz Spa, where Marriott says the treatment program draws on Arab and Amazigh traditions. Other listed facilities include an outdoor pool, 24-hour room service, concierge service and complimentary on-site parking.

For travelers planning the logistics, Marriott lists Marrakech Menara Airport at approximately 26.2 kilometres from the hotel and does not list a hotel shuttle. Amerruk’s own website separately says private chauffeur transfers can be arranged, so guests should distinguish between a scheduled shuttle and a pre-arranged private transfer.

The location makes Amerruk a different proposition from a Medina riad or a central Hivernage hotel. It is geared more toward travelers who want resort-style space and Atlas-facing surroundings while remaining within reach of Marrakech.
