Marrakech Menara Airport Expands Passenger Assistance Team From 68 to 255
Marrakech Menara Airport has sharply increased the number of staff dedicated to passenger information, orientation and managing flows, according to figures attributed to Morocco’s National Airports Office, ONDA.

The Marrakech team rose from 68 agents in 2025 to 255 in 2026. Across Morocco’s airports, the equivalent workforce increased from 344 to 670 agents over the same period.
The expanded teams are intended to help travelers navigate terminals, find information and move through busy airport areas, with greater staffing during peak periods and additional customer-service training.
The staffing increase accompanies wider changes to the passenger journey at Moroccan airports, including mobile boarding-pass checks, self-service check-in, automated bag-drop systems and automatic gates.
For Marrakech passengers, the most concrete change is the scale of the staffing increase: the airport now has nearly four times as many reception and assistance agents as it did in 2025.
