Three new easyJet routes to Marrakech are now approaching their launch dates, adding direct links from Prague, Zurich and Newcastle during the 2026–27 winter season.

The three launch dates

easyJet says Prague to Marrakech will begin on October 25 with two flights a week, on Wednesdays and Sundays. Zurich to Marrakech follows on October 28, also twice weekly, on Wednesdays and Saturdays. Newcastle to Marrakech is scheduled to begin November 3 with flights on Tuesdays and Saturdays.

Part of a much larger Marrakech expansion

The routes form part of easyJet’s major expansion in Morocco. The airline has announced Marrakech as the location of its first base in Africa, with three Airbus A320 aircraft planned to be based in the city from spring 2026 and a broader programme of new and year-round connections.

What this means for travelers

For visitors, the immediate change is more nonstop access to Marrakech from Central Europe, Switzerland and northern England. Exact schedules and fares can change, so passengers should check easyJet directly before making plans around a particular flight.

The routes were originally announced earlier in 2026. MarrakechSouks is covering them now because their actual start dates are approaching, rather than presenting the announcement itself as new.
